As the Founder and CEO of “It’s Going To Be OK, Inc.”, I take great pleasure, privilege, and honor in having organized a non-profit organization dedicated to educating about and eradicating human trafficking. This issue is very near and dear to my heart, having personally lived through its exploitation and victimization.
As President Obama once said, “It’s time to call human trafficking what it really is: modern-day slavery.” Moreover, approximately 300,000 children are at risk of being trafficked for sex in the United States every year. Because of this, “It’s Going To Be OK, Inc.” is dedicated to empowering those who have experienced trafficking, those who’ve never heard of it, and those who want to do something to prevent it.
